Educators Collaborative, LLC
Executive Assistant
20 hrs/week remote position, hourly wage (commensurate with experience)
Start Date: July 1, 2024 or sooner
Educators Collaborative, a national and international search and consulting firm to independent schools, seeks a highly skilled executive assistant as an independent contractor for approximately 20 hours per week to support the work of the firm. This is a remote position. The Executive Assistant will report primarily to the two co-managing partners but will be accessible to all partners.
About Educators Collaborative (EC)
Educators Collaborative was established in 1971 and operates with the mission of positioning schools for success through effective leadership. The firm delivers on this mission through executive searches (heads of school and senior administrators) and related consulting work that includes governance support and development, strategic planning, executive coaching, program and department assessment, and more. The current partners, all former independent school leaders, live across the country and internationally.
Two co-managing partners, elected by the partnership, oversee the assignment of work that comes directly to the firm; set agendas and run the monthly partners’ meetings (on Zoom) and two semi-annual retreats (in person); and oversee the firm’s supporting systems and personnel. In addition to the executive assistant, the partnership is further supported by a communications and marketing manager and a newsletter editor.
True to our name, EC strives to be collaborative in everything we do, appreciating what each of us – partners and support staff – brings to the firm. We are proud of our reputation for being similarly collaborative with the schools we engage with and the candidates we recruit. We expect that a new executive assistant will be equally invested in the culture of our organization.

- Tracking competitor and market data;
- Preparing data-driven reports for monthly meetings, as requested;
