Groves Academy, a subsidiary of Groves Learning Organization (GLO) invites visionary, empathetic, and expert educational leaders to apply for the new Lower School Division Director position.

Located in the charming suburb of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Groves Academy is a renowned grades 1–12 independent school serving 260 students who learn differently. As a central pillar of the GLO nonprofit ecosystem, the Academy is more than a school; it is a beacon of literacy and a place where students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and other learning challenges discover their brilliance through evidence-based, transformative experiences.
The Opportunity: Newly Created Leadership Roles
In a strategic move to enhance instructional impact and student experience, Groves Academy has established two distinct Division Director positions. These leaders will serve as the primary instructional and cultural anchors for their respective divisions, reporting directly to the Vice President of Learning/Head of School.
GLO is seeking leaders who embody their core values of Authenticity, Collaboration, Compassion, Discovery, and Tenacity.
Qualifications include:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Leadership Experience:
- 5–7 years of teaching experience in the relevant grade levels, with
- a track record of success supporting students with learning differences
- supervising and supporting staff,
- leading grade-level or program initiatives, and
- advancing inclusive, evidence-based practices for students with learning differences
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of differentiated instruction and evidence-based practices (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Spell-Links).
