During the past year, Watershed and Friends Schools have been engaged in merger discussions with the aim of providing a cohesive, progressive educational experience from preschool to 12th grade for children in Boulder. We now announce that the unification process will not proceed. Instead, both Friends School and Watershed School will remain as separate independent schools, fully committed to steadfastly providing excellent educational experiences for their students. Their Boards, Heads of Schools, and Leadership Teams will continue to independently advance strategic priorities in keeping with their missions, visions and values.
