Educators Collaborative is pleased to support the International School of Arizona (ISA) in its search for a new Head of School to begin July 1, 2027. The International School of Arizona is a nonprofit, independent private school, educating students in a dual (French or Spanish) international curriculum, from age 18 months through grade 8. The school is accredited by AEFE of France, Instituto Cervantes of Spain, The International Spanish Academy Network and Cognia.
About the School
The mission – Opening Doors to Success in a Constantly Changing World – is not just words, it is the guiding principle for ISA.
ISA’s world-class academics and immersive language programs empower students to achieve exceptional academic success and prepare them for future leadership roles. ISA cultivates intellectual curiosity and academic excellence in students who demonstrate a passion for learning. By the end of grade three, most students outperform their monolingual peers, excelling in both their native language and their track language of either French or Spanish. In fourth grade the students are introduced to a third language, setting them on a path to conversational fluency by eighth grade. The rigorous curriculum and commitment to global education develops what ISA calls the “Portrait of a Graduate.” The portrait of a ISA graduate is the ultimate goal or aspiration for each ISA student as the Guiding Principals lead them. The six (6) characteristics of a graduate are what ISA uses to measure the success of their students: Curious Problem Solver, Compassionate Communicator, Inspirational Leader, Advocate of Self and Others, Powerful, Ambitious, Balanced and a Citizen of the World.
