About the School
Holland Hall is Tulsa’s only PreK–12 independent Episcopal school, serving more than 1,000 students on a beautiful 167-acre campus in south Tulsa. Founded in 1922, the School is widely recognized for its rigorous college preparatory program, deeply relational culture, and commitment to educating the whole child. Holland Hall’s educational philosophy reflects a balance of academics, arts, athletics, character development, and community engagement, encouraging students to pursue multiple passions while developing intellectual curiosity, confidence, empathy, and resilience.
The School’s expansive campus includes purpose-built academic, arts, athletic, and outdoor learning facilities that support a dynamic and engaging student experience. Across all divisions, Holland Hall emphasizes close relationships between students and faculty, meaningful advisory structures, experiential learning, and a culture in which students are deeply known and supported. The School’s Episcopal identity reinforces values of inclusion, intellectual inquiry, service, and respect for the dignity of every individual.
Holland Hall’s community consistently describes the School as warm, welcoming, and grounded in belonging. Nearly 40% of students identify as students of color, and more than one-third of students receive financial assistance. The School benefits from a highly engaged parent and alumni community, strong governance, a substantial endowment, and exceptional momentum as it enters its second century.
Mission
Holland Hall provides a challenging and comprehensive educational experience grounded in a rigorous liberal arts, college preparatory curriculum that promotes critical thinking and lifelong learning. The School seeks to foster a strong moral foundation and a deep sense of social responsibility in every student.
Values
Guided by its Episcopal identity, Holland Hall values intellectual curiosity, integrity, empathy, inclusivity, and service to others. The School is committed to cultivating a community where students are encouraged to pursue excellence while developing compassion, self-awareness, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility to the broader world. Holland Hall’s educational philosophy emphasizes balance — encouraging students to engage deeply in academics, athletics, the arts, leadership, and community life.
About the Position
Holland Hall offers an exceptional opportunity for a relational, visionary, and community-centered leader to guide one of the region’s premier independent schools into its next chapter. The School seeks a Head who will honor Holland Hall’s distinctive culture while thoughtfully leading conversations about the future of teaching and learning, innovation, student well-being, and excellence in a rapidly changing world.
The successful candidate will join a thriving institution with strong enrollment, talented faculty, committed trustees, exceptional facilities, and a deeply loyal community.
