Located on a breathtaking 42-acre campus in Roswell, Georgia, High Meadows is a nationally respected progressive PK–8 independent school and summer camp rooted in inquiry-driven learning, environmental stewardship, childhood-centered education, and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. The School serves approximately 340–360 students during the academic year, while its thriving summer camp welcomes approximately 900 campers across three sessions each summer.

High Meadows offers its next Head something increasingly rare: an institution with a deeply held and enduring vision for what childhood and education can be together.

It is a place where children can climb, question, debate, build, create, investigate, camp, collaborate, make mistakes, solve problems, care for the natural world, and learn to understand themselves and others. It is a school that believes rigor and joy can coexist; that independence grows through experience; that relationships matter; and that the natural world has something important to teach.

The next Head will have the opportunity to honor these deeply held convictions while helping High Meadows continue to grow and evolve for future generations of students and campers.
