Current Opportunities
Kindergarten Teacher
Lamplighter seeks a passionate early childhood educator to lead a Kindergarten classroom beginning in August 2026
This role involves creating a warm, structured classroom environment where young learners develop foundational literacy, numeracy, curiosity, and confidence. The Kindergarten teacher works closely with an associate teacher and collaborates regularly with colleagues across the Early Childhood program.
Teachers in the elementary program collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to a dynamic learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and strong student relationships.
Elementary Teacher (Grades 1–4)
Lamplighter seeks educators who enjoy working within a team-based culture and who bring curiosity, flexibility, and a love of learning to their classrooms.
- Experience in educational leadership (independent, public, therapeutic, or mission-aligned settings)
- Deep commitment to social–emotional development and student well-being
- Capacity to lead interdisciplinary teams of educators and therapists
- Emotional intelligence, steadiness, and relational depth
- Strategic and operational acumen
