Holland Hall School

The complete Information for Candidates report with Leadership Profile is available by contacting one of our consultants, indicated below.

Holland Hall is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory, Episcopal Day School offering an exceptional educational experience to students from three years of age through grade 12. The oldest Independent school in Tulsa and one of the oldest in the Southwest, Holland Hall brings together an outstanding faculty, an innovative curriculum, and exceptional facilities to provide students with a broad, balanced, and challenging educational experience.

Located on a 162-acre campus in a wooded area of south Tulsa, Holland Hall's facility includes seven science labs, four computer labs, three libraries containing some 60,000 volumes, and the 70,000-square-foot Walter Arts Center designed for use by students and numerous arts organizations. The Arts Center, which supports programs in music, visual arts and dance, includes an outdoor sculpture garden. A pond, located between the Primary and Middle School buildings, is often used as a site for study by students, as are the bluebird trails and other outdoor classroom areas throughout the campus. All Saints Chapel, which serves all Holland Hall students, rests between the Upper School and the Walter Arts Center.

An eight-lane, all-weather track circles the football field, and two cross-country trails loop through the woods. A dozen tennis courts and fields for baseball, softball, field hockey, and soccer are also located in attractive areas, as are gymnasiums for all three divisions, Primary, Middle and Upper.

The next Head of Holland Hall School will lead a dynamic and well-respected academic Independent School which is poised to move dramatically forward in the near future. The new Head will play an integral role in the final development of the new strategic plan, the campus master plan, and the capital campaign purposes and initiatives. In addition, the successful candidate for Head of School will join a faculty, administration and Board of Trustees committed to academic excellence and innovation. Although the new Head need not be an Episcopalian, it is important that the individual is comfortable and supportive in this environment. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for an energetic and visionary Independent School leader.
